My client hired me to fix his hacked WordPress site.

I went into the WordPress admin and there were all sorts of spam users, which it did not let me delete.

There were 3000 comments (2000 of them were from the past few months of just garbage comments).

There were Chinese pages all over.

The sitemap on Google was listed in Chinese.

The WordPress version was out of date, and there were tons of outdated WordPress plugins.

I couldn’t fix any of this in the WordPress Dashboard as the hackers did a good job blocking my administrator account from fixing any of the above issues!

As an expert web developer, I was hired to fix the above problems, which all had to be done on the backend.

I was able to delete the comments and spam users through the database and am working on fixing the files and putting in a fresh installation of WordPress.

This way the client will be able to use his site to promote his business and create more sales.
